Gistermiddag hebben brancheorganisatie NLActief en de Vereniging voor Exclusieve sportcentra overleg gehad met Minister van Rijn voor medische zorg en sport over de mogelijkheden om toch eerder dan 1 september open te mogen.
Uit dit overleg zijn, op z'n zacht gezegd, wonderlijke zaken gekomen.
De minister gaf aan dat hij nog een aantal maatregelen mist in het protocol dat vanuit onze branche een aantal weken geleden al aan het ministerie is aangeboden.
Zo had de minister het er over dat “mensen in en uit lopen" in sportscholen en zou er geen goed zicht zijn op wie en hoeveel mensen binnen zijn.
Onzin, in het protocol staat duidelijk vermeld dat er gewerkt wordt met een reserveringssysteem waardoor je nooit met meer dan een x aantal mensen binnen bent. Ook weet je zo exact wie er binnen is.
Verder zou er “geen duidelijk schoonmaakprotocol" zijn waarin staat hoe apparaten schoongemaakt worden. Ook dit staat gewoon vermeld in het protocol.
Wij begrijpen hier niets van maar we gaan ervan uit dat de regering zich nog eens goed inleest in het protocol en dat dan snel duidelijk wordt dat zij zich vergissen.
Onze brancheorganisatie houdt nauw contact met de overheid. Wij hebben er vertrouwen in dat er uiteindelijk, op niet al te lange termijn, (letterlijk en figuurlijk) beweging in de zaak zal komen.

Yesterday afternoon, the sector organisation NLActief and the association for Exclusive Sports Centers met with Minister van Rijn for medical care and sports about the possibilities of opening earlier than 1 September.
Strange things have come out of this meeting.
The minister indicated that he still misses a number of measures in the protocol that was already offered to the ministry from our sector a few weeks ago.
For example, the minister talked about “people walking in and out" in gyms. This way, he said, there's no good overview of who and how many people are inside. Nonsense, the protocol clearly states that we work with a booking system so that you never have more than an x number of people inside. You also know exactly who is inside.
Furthermore, he said there's “no clear cleaning protocol" detailing how appliances are cleaned. This is also simply stated in the protocol.
We do not understand this, but we assume that the government is once again reading the protocol well and that it soon becomes clear that they are mistaken.
Our sector association maintains close contact with the government. We are confident that eventually, hopefully soon, this case will get justice!
